Imagine paying for something very valuable for decades and not being able to use it. Then imagine a privileged few get to use it, but you don’t. That’s the situation Lakelanders face today. Lakeland owns more than 330 miles of fiber network infrastructure. This infrastructure uses a particular type of cable that utilizes light, instead of electricity, to transmit information.
